On our way to visit the two pot-bellied pigs, there is a visit to the kennel and a stop to feed the three whinnying horses. Apples are the horses’ tasty treat. We also give them a verbal warning that we will be back for a ride after the pigs are fed.
We march toward the kennel where Peanut, Chloe, Opus, and Hobbs are waiting. Squirt is running free, and so is one other pup whose name eludes me. The mighty mutts herald our arrival with quite a cacophony of howls, barks, and “Who the heck are you?”We make friends anyway. “Aunt Annie” comes along with the porky pigs’ pot of gold…watermelons and apples.

Much to our dismay, “Aunt Annie” has to use some mighty muscle nudging to eject them from their hot hooch. Now no offense, but looking at them, we are sure they will gobble up the goodies ASAP. Ha! The have the last oink.
They slowly trudge right into their private swimming pool. Not to be outdone by “Aunt Annie’s” double pond, they sit down in theirs. Plop! They snort, “Thank you very much, but we would rather eat later!”. The sun is too sinister. With indifference, they waddle past the tempting watermelon. “Aunt Annie’s”-dug-ditch water wins.
