My Mom and Daddy had a real deal love story. Not perfect, it was simple and complicated simultaneously. But ee Cummings could have written this poem for them.

I took this photo at the San Diego zoo several years ago. One of my all-time favorites. I stood and watched this darling duo for a long time. Loving the loving. I noticed every detail. Or so I thought.
